Oscar Eugene Moore's Obituary
Oscar Eugene Moore, 73, of Florence passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at ECM Hospital. There will be a private family service officiated by Billy Warren. Burial will be at Tri- Cities Memorial Gardens. Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mr. Moore Was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Eliza Holland Moore; Parents James Lester and Cassie Ann Moore; Father and Mother In law Thomas and Exie Holland; and daughter, Angela Moore.
He is survived by daughter, Heather Foust (James); brothers, James Moore (Sandy), William Moore (Karan), George Moore (Jonna); and sister in law, Darlene Beavers (Kenny); and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Moore was a 1967 Graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelors degree in chemical engineering, he worked for TVA for over 30 years and retired in 1994. He worked in non-profit organizations for 16 years after his retirement. He was member at Crosspoint Church of Christ and a member of the Alabama Renaissance Faire Round table.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mars Hill Bible School or the American Heart Association
