Ozzo Hammond's Obituary
Mr. Ozzo (Don) Hammond, 73, of Florence, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008 at ECM Hospital.
A graveside service will be Monday, October 6, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Michaels Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Andy Sullivan. The family will receive friends at Elkins Funeral Home from 12:00 till 2:00 p.m.
Mr. Hammond was the owner of Don''s Barber Shop. He served in the Navy and the Air Force. Mr. and Mrs. Hammond would have celebrated they 49th Wedding Anniversary on October 17 th. He is preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Letha Hammond Tucker, a brother-in-law, Jessie Cross and a niece Denise Hammond.
He is survived by his wife Eunice Marie Hammond; Florence. Brothers Otto Hammond (Margaret) Leoma, TN, Leo Hammond (Ruby) Wichita Falls, TX. Cleo Hammond (Rillia) Lawrenceburg, Tn., Roy Hammond (Clarice) Lawrenceburg, TN, Bob Hammond ( Ann) Malvern,Ak, sisters Joyce Bowery (George) , Ethridge, TN. and Janie Eighner, Tulsa, OK. 17 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude''s Hospital, or Multiple Sclerosis Society.
