P. C. Goforth, Jr.
Decatur
Funeral service for P. C. Goforth, Jr., 91, of Decatur, will be Monday, November 2, 2015 at 2:30 pm at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Goforth, who died Thursday, October 29, 2015, was born to Perry Clinton Goforth, Sr. and Helen Dodson Goforth.
He was retired from Wolverine Tube, served in WWII in Army Air Corp, member of American Legion Post 15. Longest active member of Southside Baptist Church.
Mr. Goforth is survived by his wife: Delores S. "Dody" Goforth, two daughters: Rev. Carol S. Goforth and Judi Goforth Galligan, and one granddaughter: Rebecca Leigh Galligan.
