Graveside service for Pamelia Terry Carden, 93, of Decatur will be Thursday, July 12, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Decatur City Cemetery with the Rev. John Ingouf and the Rev. Tom Campbell officiating and Ridout''s Brown Service directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Carden, who died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Parkway Medical Center, was born Nov. 27, 1913, in Lawrence County to Alex and Doshie Owen Terry. The family moved to Decatur in 1920. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Eugene Carden; one son, Booney Hoover Carden; three brothers, Lacy Terry, Casey Terry and A.D. Terry; and two sisters, Mable Trout and Frances Holmquist. Survivors include one daughter, Terry Gene Carden Weaver and her husband, Roy, of Hartselle; two granddaughters, Heather Weaver Roden and her husband Greg, and Amber Weaver Emmons, all of Hartselle; and three great-granddaughters, Carden Roden, Hayden Roden and Delaney Emmons. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to a favorite charity.
