Memorial services for Patricia Mize Bittle, who died April 30, 2008, will be Sunday, May 11, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Rid-out's Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne Newby officiating. She was born Nov. 22, 1917, in Aberdeen, Miss., to the late Clarence Irville Mize and Mollie Belle Irvin Mize. Her husband, Neal Bittle, and brother, William E. Mize, preceded her in death. Pat was a very active member of Central Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Senior Faith Sunday school class and the TLC Ministry program. As a graduate of Mississippi State College for Women, she taught high school English, Latin and French. She was a renowned duplicate bridge player and instructor in Alabama and Mississippi. She was blessed by her many wonderful friends. Survivors are two nephews, E. Gail Mize and Lyn M. Mize of Chattanooga.
