Obituary

Mrs. Patricia Gail Chandler, 68, of Killen, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2008 at her home.
The family will receive friends at Elkins East Chapel Funeral Home Saturday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. The graveside service will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Cox Cemetery with Tim Grigsby officiating.
Patricia was a graduate of Rogers High School and was retired from the Lauderdale County Board of Education. She was a former member of the Killen-Center Star Rescue Squad and was a member of the Harrison Chapel United Methodist Church.
She loved to cook, drive the van for Greenhill Senior Citizens, to do puzzles, quilting, cross stitching, reading, and spending time with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Foster, parents Elaine and George Johnson, sister Barbara Greenhill, brothers-in-law Kenneth Hanback and Alfred Burns.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Harold L. Chandler, Killen; children, Frank (Kay) Foster, Mike (Carol) Foster, Chris (Emily) Foster, Lisa Foster Risner, and Jeff (Nicole) Chandler; grandchildren, Jamie Foster, Joey Foster, Jon Burgess, Lee Childers, Megan Childers, Roy Foster, Sara Foster, Will Foster, Joanna Risner, Foryshia Risner, James Risner, Debra Risner, and Brodie Chandler; great-grandchildren, Callie Foster, Eric Foster, Jakob Burgess, Madelynn Childers, Carter Burgess, and Harmony-Leigh Behel; brothers, Robert (Ellaree) Johnson, George (Donna) Johnson; brother-in-law, Flavel Greenhill; sisters June Burns, and Diane Hanback; 36 nieces and nephews; special friend Cora Fetro and uncle Gene (Camilla) Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Jon Burgess, Roy Foster, James Risner, Joey Foster, Lee Childers and Will Foster.
A special thanks to Dr. Hollis, Hospice of the Shoals, and the Henry-Joyce Cancer Center at Vanderbilt Hospital.
