Patrick J. Forton, 84, died on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. Visitation will be Monday, April 4th at 10:00 a.m. at Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Father Ray Remke officiating.
Pat was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 2, 1932 to Stanley and Josephine Forton. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Robert Forton, son Dale Forton, grandson Cody Forton, and great-granddaughter Angel Bell.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Forton, two sons, Bruce Forton (Geni) of Orlando, Florida and Joe Forton (Kathy) of Decatur, three daughters, Cindy Marks and Denyse Forton of Decatur, and Lynn Lee (Phillip) of Harvest, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley or St. Ann's School Education Foundation
