Paul Ray Jones passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014. He was born October 8, 1934, and resided in Decatur most of his life. He is predeceased by his parents, Albert and Mary Jones; brothers, Wilborn and Bobby Jones; sisters, Ruth Wilbanks and Louise Taylor; and son, Mark King.

He is survived by his wife, Bettye Taylor Jones; son, Victor Ray Jones; daughter, Angela King Free; sister, Mary Wilbanks; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. Jones served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Japan and Korea. He worked as a mechanic and car salesman in the Decatur area.

Funeral service will be officiated by Preston Free and Aaron Warnick on Friday, February 21, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation wll be held one hour prior to the service.
