Peggy Franklin Jenkins, 91, went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2024 her visitation will be on Tuesday July 9, 2024 from 12:30 PM until 2:00PM at Faith Baptist Church. A service will follow with Rev. Jeremy Nason officiating and Ridout's Brown-Service directing. Burial will be at Burningtree Cemetery.

Mrs. Jenkins was born on November 4, 1932 is Bassett Virginia to Neville Louis Jenkins and Vera Clytie Thomas Franklin. She was a kindergarden teacher at Grace Baptist school and a daycare worker at Decatur Heritage Christian Academy. She was a Sunday teacher for 50 plus years at Faith Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband Bynum Leon Jenkins.

She is survived by her Son, Stephen L. Jenkins and his wife Karen.
