Peggy McCutchen McCulloch Stepped Into Heaven Tuesday December 23, 2014. Memorial Services will be Monday December 29, 2014 at 2:00 at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday December 28th from 5 to 7 at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home. She was born May 12, 1944 in Morgan County to Henry Morris McCutchen and Gladys Compton McCutchen. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her brother James Morris McCutchen, sister-in-law Elizabeth Sullins and brother-in-law Melvin Appleton. Survived by her devoted husband of 48 years Charles H McCulloch, her son Charles D McCulloch, her daughter Susan McCulloch, her brother Thomas W McCutchen, two grandsons Lane McCulloch, Landon McCulloch, sister-in-law Janet Appleton, and brother-in-law Doug Sullins. Employed by South Central Bell for 16 years and many years as a private duty nurse but most of all devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed camping and watching her grandson play ball. Once diagnosed with breast cancer Peggy never gave up. She never complained maintaining a brave and cheerful outlook of a optimistic future with a most contagious smile.
