Peggy Ann Pruitt
Decatur Peggy Ann Pruitt, 82, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday March 7, 2017. Funeral will be Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ben Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Peggy Ann was born on Jan. 28, 1935 in Lauderdale County to Parilee Paulk who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Pruitt Sr. and by her daughter, Mary Ann. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church of Decatur.

Survivors include one son, Hobert Pruitt Jr. and his wife, Cathy; and three grandchildren, Ben Pruitt, Adam and Drew Ulmer.
