Graveside service for Peggy Johnson Russell, 82, of Decatur, will be Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Decatur City Cemetery with Dr. Rev. Todd Evans officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral.
She was retired from General Electric, and a member of Parkview Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tennis Wiley Russell and 2 brothers; Willie Paul Johnson and Lowell Johnson.
Ms. Russell is survived by 2 sons, Rick Russell and wife, Marjorie and Dr. Chris Russell and wife, Anita; 1 daughter, Kim Patterson and husband, Brian; 1 brother, Bobby Johnson; 2 sisters, Bettye Duling and Judy Little; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
