Peggy Ann Thomas, age 83, passed away on July 24, 2023, at her home in Killen, Alabama.  Peggy is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, George Thomas and eldest son, Bufford Van Thomas.  A woman of faith and the heart of the Thomas family, Peggy worked tirelessly beside George in their business in West Memphis, Arkansas for many decades.

Peggy is survived by sons Robert (wife Shirley) of Oak Ridge, NC and Bryan (wife LeaAnn) of Killen, AL.  Her sister, Fran Baker of Killen, AL.  Grandchildren Steven, Justin, Miranda (husband Jasper), Nathanael & Matthew along with 2 great grandchildren Hunter and Abby.  Nephews Brad Baker (wife Sheri) of Atlanta and Michael Nelson (wife Jennifer) of Fairhope, AL and many other beloved family members.

The visitation will be at Elkin East Chapel on Wednesday, July 26 from 5pm to 6:30pm.  Internment with immediate family members will be at Forest Hills Midtown Memphis, TN on Thursday.  Memorials can be sent to Calvary Baptist Church, 1600 N Avalon St., West Memphis, AR 72301 or the charity of your choice.
