Peggy C. Thompson's Obituary
Peggy Copeland Thompson, 85, of Florence passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at her residence. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. on Friday at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.
Peggy was a member of First Christian Church, Florence.
Survivors include her children, Pete (Barbara) Thompson, Phillip (Donna) Thompson, and Pam White; eight grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther "Pete" Thompson; parents, Carl and "Buck" Copeland; brothers, Charles and Bill Copeland; and sister, Becky Turpen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Shoals; 115 Fairground Road; Florence 35630.
