Reverend Phillip Arthur Nell, age 86 of Florence, passed away on September 28, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Nell is survived by his wife, Judith Nell; children, Connie Boyles (Michael), Jennifer Moffett (Nelson), and Timothy Nell (Tavy); four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Anthony Nell and Clara Struth; a brother, Richard Nell; and sisters, Meredith Rawls and Ruby Gielow.

Mr. Nell served in the United States Air Force and was ordained with the Assemblies of God.
