Phillip A. White, 61, of Florence passed away Monday, August 5, 2013. Visitation will be Thursday beginning at 11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service in the Elkins Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with his nephew, Bro. Mike Walker of Magnolia, KY officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitehead Cemetery, Rogersville.

Mr. White was an avid Alabama Football fan.

He is survived by his daughter, Erica Jefferys (Jeremy) of Hartselle; grandson, Sawyer Jefferys; siblings, Mark White (Stacey) of Florence; Angela White Green of Lexington; Gloria Pampinto of Decatur, Teresa Patterson (Tommy) of Florence, and Pat Killen of Sheffield; and several loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ricky and Helen White and a sister, Laura Nash

Pallbearers will be his nephews, Mark Johnson, Timmy White, Jeremy Jefferys, Eric White, Brian Killen, Shane Killen and Leslie Nash.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
