Pollie Ann McCary
Pollie England McCary, 78 of Moulton passed away at Decatur Health and Rehab Center on April 30, 2011. Ms. McCary was born on June 25, 1932 in Lawrence County. She was the daughter of Roxie Jane Burnett and Calvin Jackson England. Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 Thursday, May 5, at Elliott Funeral Home in Moulton. Her funeral service will be held Friday, May 6, 2011 at 2:00 PM at CrossOver Ministries on Hightway 157 in Moulton, with the Rev. Wayne Dotson and the Rev. Virgil Calhoun officiation. Body will be at the church one hour before the service. Burial will be at Hickory Grove Church in Mt. Hope. Pollie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a member of CrossOver Ministries. Mrs. McCary worked at Morrison's Cafeteria and retired from Hartselle Medical Center. Preceded in death by her parents; her twin sons, Dannie and Donnie McCary; her ex-husband, Billy McCary and her brother, Howard England, sister-in-law, Trevor England and her grandchild Cody Steven McCary. She is survived by one daughter, Myra Bryson and her husband Ron of Trinity; one son, Billy Steven McCary and fiancee, Teria Whitehead, of Decatur, three grandchildren, Zachary Hutto of Madison, Tara Hutto of Trinity and Sirena McCarley of Decatur; and four nephews and three nieces. Pallbearers will be Rick England, Ray England, Gary England, Rick Hill, Noah England and Jared England.
