Rachel Catherine Frazier Motes, 45, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026. A celebration of her life for family and friends will be noon to 2 p.m. Friday, April 17, at Elkins Funeral Home in Florence, AL.

Few things made Rachel happier than growing fruit and vegetables in her back yard.

She was a devoted fan of the Allman Brothers Band and loved the Muscle Shoals music heritage.

She is survived by her daughters, Cat Jones and Emma Jones; grandchildren, Brentley and Annalie Contreras, and David Lumbreras; brother, Wes Frazier; stepfather, Robert Palmer; and partner, David McDowell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Frazier and Ginny Palmer.
