Racine Fergerson Letson, 85, of Kitchen's Mill community died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation for Decatur. Mrs. Letson was born May 21, 1923, in Lawrence County to John Burdwell and Mary Lou Hall Fergerson. Funeral will be Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Standridge officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Hence Letson; her parents; four sisters, Flora Smith, Pauline Abbott, Eva Sapp, Lassie Parker; five brothers, Richard, Sidney, Grover, Fennel and Hal Fergerson. She is survived by one daughter, Juanita Letson McCleskey; son-in-law, Eugene McCleskey; two grandsons, Gregory and Jeffrey (Julie) McCleskey; great-grandson, Justin McCleskey; and sister, Esta Bea Clark of Russellville.
