IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Regina Lynn
Neese
May 17, 1966 – November 3, 2024
Regina Lynn Neese, 58, of Rogersville, Alabama traveled to her final home in Heaven on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Vanderbilt Hospital after a brief illness. She was a lover of Jesus, a servant, and an encourager to many on this earth. She awoke each day thinking of others.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6, 2024, 11 AM to 1 PM at Clements Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Caleb Gooch officiating. Burial will be at Barnett Cemetery. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.
Regina was a devoted member of Clements Baptist Church.
Mrs. Neese was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Glen and Betty Jane Smith.
She is survived by her loving husband for 10 years, Jerry Neese; three children, Anna Victoria Musgraves (Evan), Sara Kathryn Summerlin, and Colin Christopher Truitt; stepson, Jebby Neese; grandchildren, Harrison Musgraves, Owen Musgraves, Liam Summerlin, Ezekiel Caris, Morgan Stricklin (C.J.), Gunner Neese, and John Michael Neese; great-grandchild, Rhett Brewer Stricklin; and her brother, Timothy Glyn Smith (wife and Regina's close friend, Regina)
She is survived by her family; we're really not sure how we can survive without her. We were her passion; everyone of us. She loved her family unconditionally. Her husband, her children, her grandchildren, and her nieces/nephews were her joy. She was the love of Jesus to us daily.
Pallbearers will be Mitchem Smith, Jebby Neese, Evan Musgraves, Daniel Sampson, Jeff Smith, and Jesse Grigsby.
Regina will be greatly missed on this earth. She didn't just meet people, she served them. She didn't just speak to people, she loved on them. She didn't just ask how she could pray, she asked "What Can I do?". She took action, she loved big, and she changed lives. She was everyone's best friend. To her family, she was a rock that was never shaken. If she was involved, it could and would be accomplished and done well! Her favorite phrase that we heard her speak many, many times was "But God!". Trials will come, But God! Troubles will be ever present in this world, But God! Our flesh will fail But God! On this day, remember Regina by trusting Jesus and serving others! She is active in Heaven today, serving and praising…… and talking.
She had many passions, many involving children. One of her favorites was Operation Christmas Child (OCC) that provides a shoebox full of needy items to children in need around the world during this Christmas Season. In lieu of flowers, honor our Regina by donating and providing on her behalf a Christmas Shoebox to a child in need. You can donate at www.clementsbaptist.org.
