Decatur Rena Mae Foote, age 68, of Decatur died Friday, September 25, 2015. She was born July 18, 1947, in Jefferson County to Lee Byrd and Maggie Black Byrd. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Somerville. Ms. Foote was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracie L. Jeffers. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Hill and husband Leland, of Somerville; one brother, Roy Byrd, of Danville; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Charles Owens and Alan Stover will be officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
