Richard Hill Moulton
Funeral for Richard Hill, 63, of Moulton will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Pepper officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery with Elliott directing. Visitation will be today from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Hill, who died Feb. 27, 2010, was born Oct. 26, 1946, in Lawrence County to Roy and Mozell Hill. Mr. Hill had retired from the City of Moulton Street Department as a Superintendent. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Joel Hill and one brother, Phillip Hill. Survivors include his wife, Judy Danner Hill; one daughter, Michelle Peavler (Bobby); three sons, Jim Hill of Moulton, Chris Stehr (Meredith) of Gulf Shores and Bill Stehr (Lisa) of Ocala, Fla.; two sisters, Marina Kelso (Doug) and Susie Way, both of Moulton; two brothers, Troy Hill and Jack Hill, both of Moulton; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bobby Peavler, Kris Long, Steven Cornelius, Tony Hill, Edwin Hill and Bobby McIntyre.
