Richard "Ricky" Stooksberry, 59, of Florence passed away on Saturday, May11, 2013 at ECM Hospital. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Elkins Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Henry Melton officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Ricky was a member of the Local 48 Sheet Metal Union, he enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid Alabama football fan.

Survivors include his daughter, Amy Stooksberry (fianc Mike Vernon); sons, Anthony Wallace and Joseph Stooksberry (Angela); grandchildren, Taylor, Logan, Braden and one on the way!; siblings, Sue, Ronnie, Maureen, Terry and Roger; childhood friend, Johnny Keeton; and his beloved dog, Andie.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Jo Stooksberry and his mother, Tommie Rich.
