Funeral for Rickey H. Dotson, 56, of Hillsboro will be Saturday, June 20, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Mason and the Rev. Jimmy Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Clardy Cemetery in Lawrence County. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Dotson died Thursday, June 18, 2009, at River City Care. He was born March 17, 1953, in Lawrence County to Preston and Mary Moore Dotson. Survivors include two sons, Tommy P. Dotson and his wife, Cathy, and Brad Dotson and his wife, Michelle; two brothers, Bill Payne and Mac Payne; three sisters, Elizabeth Lee South, Vicki Diane Rutherford and Kathryn Pressell; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jerry Davis, Thomas South, Jackie Williams, Kenny Williams, Justin McDonald and Richard Kirby.
