Rita Melton 79 of Decatur died on Thursday July 12, 2108 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. The visitation will be on Monday July 16, 2018 at 12:30 until 2:00 PM at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in the Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Melton was born on September 27, 1938 to Jessie Everett Terry and Elisie Lorine Rose Terry. She was a member of First Baptist Church and she was preceded in death by her son Ronnie D. Melton

Mrs. Melton is survived by her husband Dale Melton, a daughter, Anita Cross and her husband John; brother Odis Terry, sister, Donna Hollimon, and two grandchildren, William Cross and Laura Cross.

Pallbearers; William Cross, Justin Matthews, Matt Hollimon, Brian Hollimon, Weston Kirkpatrick and Nathan Kirkpatrick.
