Funeral for Robert Norman Barber, 63, formerly of Decatur, will be Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill Hurt officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Barber, who died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at the VA Hospital, was born Oct. 14, 1945, in Haleyville. He was in the U.S. Air Force from 1966 to 1970. He worked for Pro-Air until his retirement. Survivors include two sons, Robert N. Barber II and his wife, Daniela, and Kevin Barber; his mother, Marjorie Barber; and one brother, William "Bill" Barber, and his wife, Elaine.
