Robert E. "Bob" Hancock passed away on June 10, 2019 at his residence.  He is survived by his wife Betty J. Hancock, daughter in law Lisa Hancock, brothers Rayford Hancock, Hugh Hancock, Larry Hancock, and Harry Hancock, grandchildren Christopher Hancock, Benjamin Hancock, Emily Stutts (Will), and Savannah Hancock.

Funeral service for Mr. Hancock will be Thursday June 13, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Alan Compton officiating, with burial at Roselawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be Christopher Hancock, Benjamin Hancock, Ray Glaze, Dwayne Whiteside, Johnny Nesmith, and Charles Bryant.

Mr. Hancock spent 28 years with Alabama Department of Public safety, 23 years as investigator of Alabama Bureau of Investigation. U.S. Army for 2 Years 12 months during Korean War, a Member of Alabama Peace officers association, State Troopers Association, F.B.I. National Association and American Legion, VFW Post 29.  The State Trooper Honor Guard will be at the grave site.  Will Stutts will sing.
