Memorial service for Robert 'Rory' Finice Grugel, 15, of Decatur will be Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Central United Methodist Church with Gary Formby officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Rory died Friday, February 14, 2014. He was born February 1, 1999, in Huntsville to Richard and Cynthia Grugel. A beautiful child, born tiny, he overcame many physical problems. He was loved by all who met him.
Survivors include his parents, Richard and Cynthia Grugel; brother, Adam Lenert; sister-in-law, Dianne Lenert; nephew, Sebastian Lenert; grandmothers, Corrine Grugel and Elsa Wallace; uncle, George Conwill (Joey); aunts, Charise McCarley (Finice), Barb Drabowicz and Carol Raczynski (Mike), and cousins, Jenny Drabowicz (Jared), Jordan McCarley (Ellen), Kathy Wood (Andy), Daniel Raczinski (Nicole) and Sandra Raczynski.
