Robert Franklin "Frank" McAfee Jr., 56 of Decatur, Alabama passed away Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 12-2:00 p.m. at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence, with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. He was a graduate of Bradshaw High School, the University of North Alabama where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, and the University of Alabama. He was a Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker for 20 years. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Virginia Hill McAfee and Robert Franklin McAfee Sr. He is survived by his sons, Chris McAfee and Jim McAfee, sister Susan Smith, nieces Ginni Wood and Tricia Wood, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
