Robert Hasson "Bob" Stringfellow passed away Monday December 31, 2012, two weeks shy of his 97th Birthday. Visitation will be Wednesday from Noon till 2pm at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence with services at 2pm in the chapel. Josh Tancordo officiating. Burial will be at Tri-cities memorial gardens with pallbears being grandsons and friends.

He was preceded by his wife Mary Alice Hayes Stringfellow and a daughter, Donna Jean Stringfellow Rigby.

Bob was survived by two daughters; Brenda S. Smith of Florence and Diane S. McGee and husband Mitch of Killen. Five grandchildren; Richard Hasson Smith, Robert Charles Smith, Sean Micheal Rigby, Mary Rigby Isbell and Tracy Morgan. Four great-grandchildren; Abigayle Joyce Smith, Darren Rigby, Gracie Rigby and Aiden Page.

Mr. Stringfellow owned and operated Stringfellow Body Shop for 35 years. He always had a project, from building race cars, to farming, building houses and taking care of his camp. He was loved by all and was always ready to lend a helping hand.

The family would like to thank his caregivers and very special friends. LaJuanna, Kelly, Clo, Phyllis, Linda, Shelly, Wynella, Nurse Ann, and Mr. and Mrs Weathers.
