Decatur                                                                                                                                                                                                            Robert Dean Jones, 87, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018.  Visitation wi ll be Friday, May 11 , 2018, from 12:00 t o 2:00 with the service followi ng a t 2:00 at Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home with Steve Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mr. Jones was born October 24, 1930, in Giles County, Tennessee to Robert Thurman Jones and Etha C. Crabb Jones.  He was a member of the Beltline Church of Christ and was retired from Monsanto.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Webb and niece Gayle Webb.

He is survived by his wife, Imogene Dungy Jones; daughter, Sonya Jones Aldridge (Jamie); nephew, Randall Webb (Sherry); two grandchildren, Deacon Aldridge and Kileigh Aldridge.
