Funeral for Robert Ray Terry, 75, of Hillsboro will be Thursday, May 28, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bennie Cottingham and Pastor Shon Bryan officiating. Burial will be in Graham Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Mr. Terry passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009, at his residence. He was born Feb. 2, 1934, in Lawrence County to David and Mary Hutto Terry. Survivors include a special niece, Barbara Way of Hillsboro; one sister, Marveline Bowen, and her husband, John, of Courtland; brother-in-law, Erskine Lowery of Tuscumbia; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Daniel Wright, Brandon Cottingham, Scottie Box, Randy Melson, Andy Melson, Patrick Smith, Jessie Mears, Aaron Mahatha and Hunter McCloud.
