Roma Dee Williams
Roma Dee Williams,74, of Florence, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008.
Funeral will be Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Elkins Chapel 1535 Hermitage Drive, Florence, Al. Officating will be Charles Kretzer. Burial will follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00- 9:00 p.m. at Elkins Chapel, Hermitage Drive.
She was a member of Florence Blvd. Church of Christ. A retired Dental Hygienist and a graduate of Mars Hill Bible School. She is preceded in death by her parents, L.M. Fowler and Bertha Wallace Fowler. A sister " Lil " Ruth Fowler.
Roma is survived by her husband W.C. Williams, son Terry Williams and wife Ginger, daughters Sherry Richardson and husband Don and Carrie Smith and husband Steve. Grandchildren Nicki Carson and husband Craig, Ben Morgan and wife Lyndsey, Adam Morgan, Lena Spivey, Kaitlin Smith, T.J.Williams and wife Bobbi, Jami Williams and Julie Holt. Six great-grandchildren. Sisters Joyce Gray and husband Glen, Norma Hallmark Dickens, brother Larry Fowler and wife Carla.
Barney, her Toy Poodle that is five years old which was very special to her and gave her lots of joy.She always said "My good ole boy ."
Pallbearers will be Ben Morgan, Adam Morgan, Craig Carson, Ian Lowery, Gary Jones, and Ray Pruitt.
The family would like to thank Dr. Felix Morris and Nursing Staff at E.C.M. Hospital.
