Ronnie Dale England Sr. died July 15, 2013, at the age of 76.

He was baptized into the Church of Christ in 1972. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was truly an old school family man. He worked hard all his life as a pipefitter/welder to provide the best for his family, who were his most prized possession. He was also an avid Harley rider and continued to ride until age 75.

Visitation at Elkins Funeral Home will begin on Thursday at noon. The chapel service will be at 2 p.m. with Frank Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley; sons, Ronnie Dale England Jr. (Sherry), of Nashville, and Randy Lynn England, of Florence; daughter, Pamela Pierce, of Nashville; grandchildren, Mallory, Tyler, Josh, Kyle, William and Matthew; a sister, Frances Risner; granddogs, Sophie, Bama, Jax, Lexi and Bandit.

He was preceded in death by his father, Peyton England; mother, Pauline England; and sister, Joyce Ingrum.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be his union brothers from Steamfitters Local Union 760 of Muscle Shoals, Ala.
