Moulton
Funeral for Royce Wayne Tucker, 71, of Moulton will be today, March 25, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Griffis officiating and Elliott Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Tucker, who died Friday, March 23, 2012, at his residence, was born August 27, 1940, in Morgan County to Grady Tucker and Bell Hitt Tucker. He was a pipe welder for 36 years. He attended Faith Baptist Church for several years where he enjoyed recording DVD's for the homebound and members. He loved his Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Tony Tucker.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janice; daughters, Carolyn Wiggins (Ron) of New Mexico and Kristie Walters (Allen) of New Market; sons, Maurice Tucker (Kelly) and Robbie Tucker, all of Moulton; brothers, Marvin Tucker (Sarah) of Decatur, James Tucker (Joan) and Marty Tucker (Gloria), all of Moulton; and 15 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Tucker, James Tucker, Marty Tucker, David Bowden, Casey Waldrep and Cory Terry.
Special thanks to Hospice of North Alabama Nurse Gail and Aide Kelly. They were God sent.
