Graveside service for Ruby Nell Smith, 89, of Decatur will be Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 pm Wednesday at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home. Mrs. Smith died Saturday, March 10, 2012, at NHC. She was born August 30, 1922, in Russellville. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jeff Billings; and husband, Clyde Smith. Survivors include three daughters, Joan Tidwell and husband,Don, Barbara Aldridge and Jean Billings; one sister, Gemelier King; five grandchildren, Denise Bradford, David Tidwell, Barry Aldridge, Becky Aldridge and Jennifer Vann; two great-grandchildren: Bobby Aldridge and Heather Aldridge; two great-great-grandchildren: Samara Aldridge and Katie Aldridge.
