Ruth C. Darby, 92, of Florence died Friday, September 25, 2015, at Columbia Cottage.

A graveside service will be Monday, September 28, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Bro. Wayne Wood officiating. Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Mrs. Darby was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Mary Pitman Clemons; three sisters, Mozelle Rhodes, Ann Young, and Helen Jones; brother, Hugh L. Clemons.

Mrs. Darby is survived by her husband, Marion K. Darby; son, Frank Willard (Vickie); step children, Ken Darby (Connie), Sue Boyles (Mike), and Laura Darby; two brothers, Jim Clemons and Bobby Clemons; two grandchildren, Sabrena McFall and Sophia Wood (Shane); four step grandchildren, Ann and Lana Darby and Will and Darby Boyles; three great grandchildren, Jackson and Ellie Grace Wood and Scarlett McFall.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Rhodes, Dwayne Rhodes, John Clemons, Kyle Clemons, Donnie Young, and David Shook.

Mrs. Darby''s family would like to express thanks to Columbia Cottage, Gentiva Hospice, and especially to Marilyn Haddock for all their love and care they have shown.
