Ruth H. Carroll, 94, of Killen passed away Thursday, July, 27,2017 at her home. Her visitation will be at Elkins East Chapel Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Her services will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel. Brother Stan Pruitt will officiate. Burial will follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Clarence and Susie Herston, sisters; Virginia Mohr, and Laverne H. Mullican, and brother, Robert H. Herston.
She is Survived by; her husband of 59 years, Robert Marshall Carroll, children; Leslie Carroll Miller (Paul) and Joel C. Carroll (Wendy), 4 Grandchildren,3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ruth was an active member of Center Star Church, worked at TVA for 36 years, loved the outdoors especially the flowers, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
