Memorial service for Sandra Gennice Armstrong, 58, formerly of Moulton, will be Monday, September 19, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Elliott Funeral Home in Moulton. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Armstrong, who died Thursday, September 15, 2011, in Rossville, Ga., was born November 28, 1952, in Moulton. She attended Southern University and Northwestern Technical College. She worked for the Health Care Center at Standifer Place. Sandra danced at every opportunity. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Armstrong; and brother, James "Jack" Armstrong.
She is survived by one son, John Bryan Mizell (Dawn) of Rossville, Ga.; her mother, Jewel Armstrong of Moulton; three brothers, Darryl (Mary) Armstrong, Clayton (Alice) Armstrong and Dayton (Vickie) Armstrong, all of Moulton; three sisters, Lynnda (Tim) Owens of LaFayette, Ga., Vickey (Steve) Lundy of Moulton and Donna (Glenn) Hughes of San Antonio, Texas; granddaughter, Kaylee Anna Mizell; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
