Sara Virginia Szczepanski
Decatur Sara Virginia Szczepanski, 90, passed away Saturday April 22, 2017 at Riverside Senior Living. A graveside service will be held tomorrow at 2:30 pm in Decatur City Cemetery with Matthew Cross officiating and Ridout''s Brown Service directing. Visitation will be at the funeral home tomorrow from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Sara was born December 15, 1926, in Bridgeton, New Jersey, to Ralph Kilborn and Ann Mary Kilborn. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 67 years, Stanley Boleslaw Szczepanski; and by one daughter, Patricia Szczepanski.

Survivors include, three sons, Stanley B. Szczepanski Jr. (Tammy), William Szczepanski, and James Bedford (Tammy); five daughters, Mary Szczepanski, Barbara Parrent (Bob), Susan Szczepanski, Ann Palik (Martin), and Margie Slemp (Jim); 10 grandsons; and three great- grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to either First Christian Church or Hospice of the Valley are requested by the family.
