Funeral for Sarah Ann Brewington, 78, of Moulton will be Saturday, March 31, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Meeks and the Rev. Jackie Shelton officiating and Elliott Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Brewington, who died Thursday, March 29, 2007, was born Feb. 14, 1929, in Lawrence County to Doctor Bogan Scruggs and Dora Idella Scruggs. She was a loving wife and mother and a devout Christian who attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Her daughter, Paula Ridgeway, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Herman Leslie Brewington; three daughters, Patricia Jackson and her husband, Bobby, and Karen Lang and her husband, Joe, all of Moulton, and Fran Collins and her husband, John, of Alexander City; six grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be John Collins, Joe Lang, Jon Hildreth Russ Lang, Jason Jackson and Eric Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Collins, Les Lang, Bobby Jackson and Jim Ridgeway.
