Funeral for Sarah "Nanny" Dutton, 87, of Decatur will be Sunday, July 12, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's BrownService Funeral Home with Don Hester officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Dutton died Friday, July 10, 2009. She was born Sept. 18, 1921, to Benjamin Anderson and Bonnie Mae Dixon Campbell. Her husband, Howard Dutton, preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Allen Dutton and wife, Mae; two grandsons, Brandon Dutton and wife Jamie, and Brian Dutton and wife, Beth; five great-grandchildren, Chaney Sara-Anne Dutton, Coen Dutton, Casen Dutton, Brylee Dutton and Weston Dutton; and one sister, Willidean Gibbons. Ms. Nanny is home in heaven to be with the Angel of God as she has been to all of us on earth. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of the Valley, P.O. Box 2745, Decatur, AL 35601.
