Funeral service for Sarah Ellen McCombs Terry, 74, of Moulton will be Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Calvin Jones officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Mrs. Terry, who died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at ECM Hospital, was born March 7, 1935, in Jefferson County to Ross Herman and Annie Elizabeth McCombs. She was a homemaker and a substitute teacher at Lawrence County High School. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Bobby McCombs and Ross Herman McCombs Jr. She is survived by her husband, Billy D. "Cup" Terry; three sons, Tony Terry (Judy) of Decatur, Blair Terry (Lisa) of Moulton and Daryl Terry of Town Creek; one daughter, Celia Minskey of Moulton; one sister, Hazel Holladay of Hartselle; two brothers, Thomas McCombs of Addison and Charles McCombs (Linda) of Birmingham; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Adam Terry, Weston Terry, Blaine Terry, Patrick Minskey, Brett Terry and Luke Terry. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
