FOXX (Jefferson), Sara Patricia Sara Patricia Foxx, 80, went home to her Lord and family on June 4, 2019.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William (and Janie) Foxx, of Montgomery, Alabama; her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth (and Andy) Mabie, of Orlando, Florida; her son, Andrew Foxx, of Decatur, Alabama; granddaughters, Rachel and Elle Foxx, of Montgomery, Alabama; grandsons, Taylor (and Sarah) and Alex Foxx, of Strasbourg, France and Montgomery, Alabama respectively; great-grandson Samuel Foxx and great-granddaughter Lydia Foxx; sister, Laura Platter; and brother Wayne (and Bonnie) Jefferson.

Pat was born in Gainesville, Florida on November 13 ^th , 1938 to Wayne and Cornelia Jefferson. She grew up there and in Washington, D.C. and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1956. Pat married William Kenneth "Ken" Foxx in 1961. They moved to Decatur and had three children. She graduated from Calhoun Junior College and Athens State College, then served as a nurse at Decatur General Hospital and as a stay-at-home mom. Pat was a long-time member of Central United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed painting, travel and antiquing. Pat loved her family and friends and will be deeply missed.
