Sarah Pennington, 93, of Rogersville died Thursday, August 09, 2018, at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville, Alabama.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 11, 2018, 1-3 PM at First Baptist Church Rogersville.  Funeral services will follow at 3 PM with Brandon Raney and Burtis Ray officiating.  Burial will be at Civitan Cemetery.  Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.

Mrs. Pennington was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Rogersville and a member of the choir.  She was a retired school teacher of Lauderdale County.  She was an EMT with Rogersville Fire and Rescue.

Mrs. Pennington was preceded in death by her husband, Connie Pennington; daughter, Ramona Pennington; grandson, Shannon Pennington.

Mrs. Pennington is survived by her daughter, Mary Offord (Vernon); sons, Stephen Pennington (Sonja), Charles Pennington (Deborah), and Keith Pennington (Ginger); grandchildren, 15; great-grandchildren, 10; sisters, Edith Markham and Doris Holtman; several nieces and nephews.
