Selva Cates (Davis) Cates' Obituary
Selva Jean (Dean) Cates, 76, of Florence died Friday, July 1, 2016, at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 3, 2016, from 12-1 PM at Elkins Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM in the Chapel with Bill Hamilton officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Cates was a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church of Florence.
Mrs. Cates was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, George F. Cates, Sr.; parents, Frank and Annie Davis; sisters, JoAnn Cothran of Clarksville, TN and Judy Whittenbarger of Midtown, TN.
Mrs. Cates is survived by her dauther, Cindy Perry (Jeff); son, Frankie Cates (Sheila); brother, Donnie Davis (Carmen) of Harriman, TN; grandchildren, Josh Perry (Jenna), Justin Cates (Elizabeth), Levi Cates, and Kristie Perry (fianc Vinnie Fadell); great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Kaylee, Shayla, Jaxson, Braelin, Bailey Reed, and Hudsyn.
Pallbearers will be Josh Perry, Justin Cates, Tim Tankersley, Vinnie Fadell, Barry Perry, and Orrin Davis.
