Shaney Springer, 80, of Lexington died Thursday, 04-30-2026, at his residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, 05/02/2026, 12-2 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will follow in the chapel with Bro. Phil Springer officiating. Burial will be at Harvey Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by parents, Joe and Gladys Springer; siblings, Hoyt Springer, Carl “Wiggie” Springer, Alvoyd Springer, Betty Jo Chandler, Martha Nell Beasley, Arlon Springer, Bobby Springer, Patsy Graham, and LaDon Trousdale.

Shaney is survived by his children, Terry Springer (Jennifer) and Wendy Kelso (Kenneth); grandchildren, Chelsea Humphres (Justin), Jacob “Bud” Springer (Courtney), Matthew Springer, Megan Harrell (Cayden), Bradley Kelso (Nichole); great-grandchildren, Lydia, Laney, Layla, and Loralye Humphres, Reagan, RileyMae, and Jaycee Springer, Aubrie, Sadie, Mason, and Carson Kelso; siblings, Royce Springer and Ann McKinley; special friend, Tina Peden; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Davis, Dennis Springer, Ben Phillips, and Tyler Springer.
