Shelby Jean Corum, 87, of Rogersville died Thursday, November 2, 2023, at her residence.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 5, 2023, 11 AM to 1 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM in the chapel with Bro. Jimmy Cox officiating. Burial will be at Hurricane Cemetery.

Mrs. Corum was a member of Hurricane Presbyterian Church. She retired from the Lauderdale County School cafeteria. She retired from the Rogersville Senior Center in July 2023. She loved cooking and making sure everyone had plenty to eat.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Corum; parents, James and Susan Belue; brothers, Bill Belue and Gerald Belue.

Mrs. Corum is survived by her loving children, Tommy Corum (Gina), Sharon Williams (Don), and Brenda Wimsatt (Howard); grandchildren, Shane Corum, Melissa Colvert (Timmy), Jennifer Huckaba (Josh), Eric Wimsatt (Doreen), Brandi Orth (Mike), Joni Cook (Jim), Anita Thompson, and Julie Thompson; great grandchildren, Addison Owens, William Huckaba, Ruby Huckaba, Wyatt Wimsatt, Maggie Wimsatt, Kayla Orth, Evelyn Orth, and Emily Gulley; great-great granddaughter, Katherine Gulley.
