Mrs. Shelby Jean McClure McCoskey, 79, of Florence passed away on July 3, 2016, at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Home.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 7, 2016, from 11 AM to 12 PM at Elkins Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12 PM in the Chapel with Bro. Brad Adcock officiating. Burial will be at Stony Point Church Cemetery.

Mrs. McCoskey was preceded in death by her parents, H. A. and Myrtle McClure; step-mother, Ruby Mitchell McClure; sister, Lillian Stewart; brothers-in-law, Gary Newton, Jack Parker, and Bobby Stewart.

Mrs. McCoskey is survived by her sisters, Kathleen Parker and Carolyn Newton; brother, Doug McClure and wife Linda; along with three nephews, three nieces, four great nephews, and one great niece.

The family would like to acknowledge a special thank you to the nurses and caregivers at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Home, Station 4.

Pallbearers will be Blake Smith, Kodi Smith, Eddie Lewis, Michael Parker, Roger Stewart, and Jim Holmes.
