Shirley R. Furnari, 79, of Florence passed away Wednesday, December 20 ,2017 at her home. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence from 12:00 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. A graveside service will follow at Tri-cites Memorial Garden''s beginning at 2:00 P.M.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lurie James and Odie J. Robertson; sons, Joseph ray Furnari and Michael Louis Furnari; and 11 brothers and sisters

She is survived by her son, Jerome "Jerry" Frank Furnari (Charlotte); daughters Janice Hunt (Larry "Jackie") ad Lise Shelton; grandchildren, Larry Hunt Jr. , Tasha Wood(Chris), Rhonda Gray (Chad), Josh Shelton and Marquritta Wallace; 8 Great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
